What does it do?

  • Provides stability and support to the rib cage, helping to relieve pain from damaged ribs that are bruised or broken
  • Helps aid rib pain from continuous coughing and respiratory disease
  • Provides comfortable support while ribs are healing
  • Holds rib cage in position and reduces the pain of everyday movements
  • Made from thin, lightweight non-elastic material, but center of the back is elasticated for better fit and comfort

Back of the belt:

Fabric: 55% Polyester, 45% Latex

Our rib support has Velcro fastening, this allows you to choose how tight you need it to be. It is recommended when putting the belt on, you lie on a bed and breathe out deeply and then fasten the belt tightly around your chest.

When wearing the belt, you should feel a light compression around your chest. Do not over tighten the belt.

To get the correct size, you need to take your measurements (in centimetres/inches) as shown in the diagram below and then then find your size on the chart below

Contraindications: Individual allergies to the materials of the fabric, local skin diseases.

Care Instructions:

Hand wash gently with mild soap or detergent in lukewarm water. Do not use washing detergents containing bleach. Do not wring or twist. Rinse until water is clear. Roll in towel to remove excess moisture. Dry flat away from heat and sunlight. Do not iron or dry clean.
