Features & Benefits:

  • Easy Hook and Loop Closure - No uncomfortable or difficult-to-close metal buckles or snaps.
  • Adjustable Waist Band -  elastic waist band with Velcro fastener on both sides offers great comfort and adjustability. Can be tightened and adjusted to achieve the desired amount of pressure.
  • Soft Front Inner Lining- gentle and comfortable against the skin.
  • Adjustable Leg (Perineal) Straps feature soft elastic to avoid abrasion and loop tabs for ease of sizing. Once sized, the leg straps can remain attached when taking the hernia belt on and off.
  • Flexible Firm Foam Cushions (left/right) have a unique design that provides gentle pressure to the weakened muscle, reducing the hernia by gently pushing it back.
  • The cushion can be positioned wherever it best suits, there are 2 included, they are anatomically shaped, flat on one side and about 0.8 inch (2cm) thick.
  • Either cushion can be removed to treat a single hernia.

Please measure the circumference of your hips, and choose the appropriate size.

Ensure that the tape measure is snug but not too tight.

 If your measurement borders two sizes, select the next larger size.

Application Instructions: Place the Inguinal Hernia Belt on the abdomen with the truss cushion(s) over desired location (hernia). Slip elastic belt around body and fasten with Velcro closure. Bring elastic leg straps under and around legs. Fasten leg straps in the buckles on the sides of the Hernia Belt.
You can follow the "Application and Care Instructions" included in the garments package.

Contraindications: Individual incompatibility with raw materials of the product, strangulated and unreduced inguinal hernias, appearance of pressure sores.

Care Instructions: Remove cushions before washing. Wash gently with mild soap or detergent in lukewarm or cold water. Do not wring or twist. Rinse until water is clear. Roll in towel to remove excess moisture. Dry away from heat and sunlight.

ATTENTION: An inguinal hernia is a protrusion of abdominal-cavity contents through the abdominal muscles in the groin area. Inguinal hernias are very common (lifetime risk of hernia: 27% for men, 3% for women). If you are unsure if the inguinal hernia truss/support is right for you we recommend you talk to your doctor.
